About the Author

John Hemming is a world-renowned conservationist and wildlife expert. He has worked with the African elephant for over 30 years, and has been instrumental in developing and implementing many successful conservation programs.

John is the founder and director of the Save the Elephants organization, which is dedicated to protecting elephants from poachers and promoting conservation. He is also a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) African Elephant Specialist Group.
