Colton's journey began in the small town of Washington, Illinois. As a young boy, he struggled with his identity as a biracial child in a predominantly white community. He was often teased and bullied for his appearance, and he felt like he didn't belong.

Colton's struggles continued when he entered the NFL. As one of the few black players on his team, he faced discrimination and prejudice from both teammates and fans. He was told that he was "too black" to be a quarterback, and he was often passed over for opportunities in favor of white players.

Despite the challenges he faced, Colton never gave up on his dreams. He worked hard to prove himself on the field, and he eventually became a successful starting quarterback. However, his success on the field did not always translate to his personal life.

In 2019, Colton was cast as the Bachelor. He was the first black man to lead the show, and his season was highly anticipated. However, Colton's journey on The Bachelor was not without its challenges. He faced criticism from both fans and the media for his decisions, and he was often accused of being fake and disingenuous.

Through it all, Colton remained true to himself. He refused to let the negativity get him down, and he continued to share his story with the world. In this book, Colton opens up about his experiences on The Bachelor, and he shares his insights on race, family, and forgiveness.

Colton's story is a powerful reminder that we are all capable of overcoming adversity. With courage, determination, and a willingness to forgive, we can all find love and acceptance, both on and off screen.
